The speaker on Wednesday, March 10th @ 7 pm is Gene Arnold from Camp Hill, PA. Gene Arnold is a national director at-large and a chapter president for the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship in America. He is also chaplain for the Camp Hill, PA chapter of the Veterans Of Foreign Wars. He is a multi faceted businessman who has visited over twenty five countries, and is considered a connector of people by the leaders of many of these countries. While on a mission trip to Kurdistan with Healing Tree International, Gene had the honor of meeting with the Governor of Kurdistan, his family, and other heads of state, opening up the opportunity to minister the Love of Jesus in that part of the world. Gene and his wife Darla have five children who live throughout the world. |

Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, is offering “Oil & Wine for the Wounded” an 8-week confidential bible study support group geared toward helping women find healing from the aftermath of sexual abuse. Sessions meet Monday evenings beginning March 22 to May 10th at 6:30pm in room #204 at the church. There is no charge for the sessions and childcare will not be provided. From the story Jesus told in Luke 10 of the Good Samaritan and the wounded traveler; this support group will help women recall the hurt of their past sexual abuse and expose these wounded to compassionate “Samaritans.” This initiates a process with the Lord for healing and recovery by the oil of His soothing Holy Spirit and wine of His cleansing blood. Messiah Village Free Electronic Recycling EventMessiah Village announces a free electronics recycling event open to the community. The event takes place on March 24 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. A truck will be onsite to collect the community’s personal electronics. The event is free to the community and is sponsored by Messiah Village. Accepted Electronics: Computers, keyboards, mice, speakers, cables, laptops, printers, fax machines, scanners, modems, copiers, cameras, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), batteries, telephones, cell phones, answering machines, toner cartridges, turntables, cassette decks, receivers, CD players, plastic speakers. Note: we can only accept flat screen TVs (LCD). Also, there is a $5 fee to recycle CRT monitors. *Those dropping off electronic devices are reminded to please remove any personal data from computers and phones. |
